Our research shows that the more your community's members are engaged, the more likely they are to continue to be a part of your community in the future, renew their memberships and purchase products. With community management, remember that sometimes you are playing the long game, but your efforts will pay off.

Don't forget to reward your members for their participation! Whether it's recognition within the community, a personal note, some swag in the mail or singling them out at an in-person event, it will encourage further participation and participation by others.

One of your community's greatest benefits is the access you give members to each other. Encourage members to seek out other members and connect with colleagues. When you see an opportunity, don't hesitate to introduce members to each other.
