After a more unusual summer, we are getting ready to ramp up into another unusual version of a familiar time: back to school. We are looking forward to ramping up our conversations and jumping back into some more in-depth call discussions, so what better topic to start with than one that is relevant to the time and to the transitional nature that we find ourselves in this year: careers.
So as we continue into the new month, we are looking forward to focusing on Careers in Community for the month of September in TheCR Network...
Since we released the new Community Careers & Compensation (CCC) 2020 Report earlier this year, focusing more time on discussing community careers seems to be a natural fit for a time where people are getting back into the learning process.
To follow-up on what we found in the CCC 2020, we are opening space on calls and in other forms of programming to hear more about how our peers have approached and are approaching their community careers, no matter how far along they are in their careers.
Under the theme of "Careers in Community", we'll be holding the following Roundtable Calls:
We'll also be hosting our usual user group calls and other networking and learning opportunities to allow for space for members to engage and connect around shared topics of interest:
This month, we're also opening up space for skill-building and learning as we continue our guided Community Fundamentals Training with both the external and the internal cohorts finishing up toward the end of the month.
To keep the conversation going between calls, we're also looking forward to launching discussions, poll questions, and opening up virtual space to explore how others have implemented these kinds of programs in their own communities.
