After the tumultuous year that 2020 was (to say the least), we are looking forward to digging back in to kick off 2021. In the spirit of how we started last year, we are starting this year with conversations around the foundations of community and community management. Because when there is uncertainty, change, or just planning for the future, we need to make sure that our foundational elements are strong enough to build on.
Because we can always go back to the basics, we have chosen to focus the month of January in TheCR Network on Community Fundamentals:
Under the theme of Community Fundamentals, we are looking to talk about some core elements of community as well as some topics that are central to the success of many different community programs.
The following Roundtable Calls and events are designed to explore different fundamental topics and appeal to a variety of use cases:
We will also be holding Work Out Loud threads, New Member Call, and platform cohort meet-ups as scheduled, including:
You may also notice that a few of these events look new, and they are! You can get more of an understanding of what each entails in
this post. We also have a
Roundtable Watch Party to be announced in January. You can read more about what a Watch Party entails at the aforementioned link.
If you can't wait and you want to dive right in, we encourage you to RSVP to a call linked above, open up your own discussion in the Roundtable group around a question, challenge, or idea you have, and/or leave a comment below if there's a topic that you think we're missing. We're actively planning for the months ahead, so we're happy to bring you and your ideas aboard at any time!
Now, let's kick off January!---------If you want to refresh on what we talked about over the past year, you can find more at the following links:
